Microsoft Vista Firewall question
Zonealarm provides such a feature and I have found it useful to allow certain programs access only when I need them to access the net v/s having them access the net anytime eg for program updates etc. Can I do this in the Windows Vista Firewall? I'm so glad I checked this group and saw the vista firewall question. I've been having the same problem with not only the Windows firewall turning off on its own but also the McAfee's firewall/internet security error message coming up all the time that it has been interrupted and has been turned off.

Since you are on vista you only need to use Vista's firewall. It allows you to set up your ins and outs and since it is totally compatable with Vista because it is built into the OS I did look on the Kaspersky web page last night as I saw it listed on another firewall question and thought it looked pretty good.
